We are able to see that there was a revival of cultural relationships between Turkey and Bulgaria throughout 1930’s. Many intellectuals, writers, journalists, thetravelnotes.com teachers etc. have been visiting the neighbouring nation and sharing their impressions with the society by memoirs or travel notes. We can depend as an example the visit to Sofia in 1932 of the chief inspector of the Ministry of Education Selim Sýrrý Tarcan (1874-1957), one of many founders of the Turkish Olympic Activity.
